Sometimes concept designs never make it to final production. Fortunately, these are still being considered.

The idea behind this concept was thinking of ways WSU's recruitment publications would stand out from other competing schools.
Instead of a traditional staple bound booklet, the cards will be held together by a key chain bound ring or chain.
This is a way to give perspective students a gift as well as spreading the brand.

Similar concept to the one above with slight variation of design for potentially a different audience or could be a part of the same campaign.

An iPhone app is a way to get information out to many perspective and current students, parents, faculty and staff, and alumni.
Some of the content within the app, would allow the user to search the directory for courses, websites, faculty and staff, watch videos, take a virtual tour, and to request for more information.

The idea for this cover is to be modern and edgy. The concept is to explore and try something that would capture the attention of the viewer; an untraditional design approach. (See inside spread below).

The idea is to capture the attention of the reader through a content collage approach. Rather than creating separate pages, this concept is to utilize the spread as a giant canvas.
This concept design has many hidden imagery and messages that keeps you wondering, searching, intrigued, while making the content fun to read and digest.

The Future Student site concept is to take content to a whole new level of visual thinking. The idea is to integrate design elements that reflects and appeal to the appropriate age group and making it fun.
A site of this nature should stimulate and inspire prospective students. Many sites such as this, make content hard to understand or find.
This concept design makes content easy to digest and scanable. This design is edgy and breaks outside of the box.

This conceptual design was to explore taking print to an untraditional way of reading. The idea was that ever page would have the top half flipped. You still would read the bottom half the way you generally read, right to left.
As you get to the end of the booklet, you would then flip it. This concept allows reading to be engaging and interactive within a print environment. You definitely could have fun with this one!
